Shipping Policy

Rates for shipping are calculated based on the weight of your package, your location and the speed of delivery. Shipping costs are automatically calculated for you in your shopping cart as you place your order. RK Apothecary will ship all products via UPS to the 48 United States. Currently, we do not ship internationally. All orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rica, the Virgin Islands, P.O. Boxes and Military APO/FPO addresses will be shipped via US Mail unless otherwise specified. Packages shipped via US mail can take up to 5 weeks to reach their destination.

All orders will be processed and shipped within 1-3 business days after the order has been placed. Packages will be shipped from our store located in Santa Monica, California. UPS ground shipping can take 1-7 business days, depending on your location, once it has been shipped. Next Day, 2nd Day and 3 Day Select (where available) will arrive on the next business day, 2nd business day and 3rd business day, respectively, FROM THE DATE SHIPPED. We also offer FREE shipping on all orders of $125 or more. FREE SHIPPING METHOD IS AT OUR DISCRETION AND WE MAY USE UPS, FEDEX or US MAIL. When FREE SHIPPING is selected, your order will be shipped COMPLETE only. If a product is out of stock, your order will be held until all items are ready to ship so order is shipped complete. You will be notified if any product is out of stock and when the estimate delivery time will be. Our site is SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Secure, which protects your personal identifiable data. It is private and is never shared with or bought by any outside organization. RK Apothecary will never ask for your credit card information or RK Apothecary password via email.

RK Apothecary accepts VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER. Your card will be charged at the time the order is processed. We are unable to accept checks, money orders or cash at this time. Orders shipped to addresses in California are subject to the California state sales tax. If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Return Policy:

If you are not happy with any purchase, we will exchange it or refund your money for products that are unopened and resalable within 30 days of the date the order was placed. Unfortunately, orders older than 30 days cannot be returned or exchanged. We will refund you the price of the unopened product(s) upon receiving the item(s). Damaged items will be replaced with an identical product only. A photo of the damaged item may be required. Please email us at info@rkapothecary.com with your Order# before returning any items. SHIPPING COSTS TO AND FROM YOU WILL BE YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED SHIPPING UNLESS YOU RETURN AN ITEM THAT HAS BEEN DAMAGED. Items received as a gift (paid for by someone other than you) can be exchanged or returned for a store credit, only if the product is unopened and resalable and it must be within 30 days of the original order. We do not accept returns on sale items. All sales on sale items are final. Please send your return package via UPS or Parcel Post insured. Insurance protects you in case the items are damaged or lost in transit. Carefully package the items in the original shipping box or any suitable shipping carton using plenty of padding material to protect the product(s) and include a copy of your invoice.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the items are well protected and packaged similar to the way you received them. Whenever possible, use the same packaging that was used to ship the items to you. Items must be received in new/resalable condition for a refund.

Once we receive your return package, we will issue you a refund or store credit for the price of the products you returned (including tax, if any). Shipping costs will not be refunded. If you paid by credit card, we will charge-back the amount to your credit card. If you are returning an item because it arrived damaged, we will also refund you the initial shipping costs and the charges incurred to return the item to us.

Please allow up to 14 days for us to receive and process your refund. We will contact you via email to inform you that the refund has been issued.
